FreeMeet on Sunday, September 13
Date: Sunday, September 13th
Time: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Location: JJ Byrne Park (5th Ave bet 3th & 4th Streets, Park Slope)
Cost: Free
The FreeMeet is your chance to unload unwanted, but usable items and take home things you can put to good use. You don’t need to bring anything to take anything
(though a tote bag might help). Please bring only portable items and leave furniture and other heavy stuff at home. Items leftover after the FreeMeet will be donated to
local charities to the extent possible.
Time Out New York Swap on Sept. 8
Loren from the Five Boroughs Clothing Swap Meetup Group told me about the Time Out New York swap. I won’t be there (Fashion Week), but I wanted to pass this on to you.
Date: Monday, September 8
Time: 6pm drop off and happy hour
7pm swap starts
Location: The Delancey
Cost: $10 (Tickets must be bought ahead of time by going to the Time Out New York
splash page.) Proceeds of the swap go to “Suited For Success” Professional Clothes Closet.
