Fashion Swapping: Give And Take This Sunday
Get ready to scuffle over vintage Chloe and more, all while donating to Housing Works.
Join the mayhem at Give & Take, at White Box (329 Broome Street between Bowery and Christie).
Sunday June 7, 3-6PM
White Box

$5 with clothes/$10 w/o clothes
Give &Take encourages sustainability by providing our peers with an outlet to donate clothes they no
longer use and exchange them amongst themselves. The event is an effort to promote recycling within the community, while serving as a clothing drive for Housing Works’ clothing bank. And boys don’t get scared, there are plenty of Men’s clothes too, designer suits and more.

NYU Swap-A-Palooza: Sunday, April 26
NYU is having a swap this Sunday, April 26 2-6PM
Swap-a-Palooza is a clothing swap and series of do-it-yourself workshops which feature creative reuse through the recycling of used clothing. Bring a bag of old clothing and get ready to swap and alter with the help of local artists. We hope to feature many do-it-yourself stations run by local artists and a recycled clothing fashion show. The idea of the swap-a-palooza is to celebrate community creativity while allowing the NYU community to put their personal touch on a stand against consumerism.

****
Suggestions for the clothing swap:
Please bring only clean, gently-worn clothes, shoes, and accessories in bags; the kind of clothes you’d be happy to pick up and wear. We’ll have stations where you can quickly sort your items by size and function when you arrive; after the screening, you’re free to browse the piles and take home as much as you brought! (Of course, if you take a little less than you brought, we’ll have more great clothes left over to give to the girls of GEMS.)
